Our Manufacturing & Quality Process
Every finished Volista supplement is tested during manufacturing and independently verified by a third-party laboratory to confirm purity, potency, and safety. Test results are available on each product page.
Manufacturing
We spoke with over twenty manufacturers before choosing one. Our partner is:
NSF/ANSI 455-2 Certified
The most rigorous GMP standard for dietary supplements. Read more about it here.
Raw Material Testing
Every ingredient is tested for identity, purity, and potency before it enters production.
U.S.-Based Manufacturing
Under U.S. regulations and oversight. Some ingredients are sourced globally because that's where they grow best.
Finished Product Testing
After formulation, the final product is tested again before release for identity & potency, heavy metals, and microbials.
Third-Party Testing
After manufacturing, we send every batch to Light Labs for independent quality control and verification. They're an ISO-17025 accredited laboratory based in Austin, Texas. They test for:
What is Third-Party Testing?
Third-party testing means an independent laboratory evaluates our products after manufacturing. This lab is not affiliated with Volista and has no incentive to influence results. Their role is to verify that each batch meets strict standards for purity, potency, and safety.
Why is Third-Party Testing Important?
Third-party testing ensures results aren’t self-reported. It confirms that what’s on the label matches what’s in the bottle and that each product meets established safety thresholds for heavy metals and microbials. It’s one of the most reliable ways to verify supplement quality.
Why Light Labs?
Light Labs is ISO-17025 accredited. That's the international standard for laboratory competence. They test for identity, potency, heavy metals, and microbials, and they publish results in a format that's actually readable for the consumer.
We also liked their philosophy. They call it the "anti-certification". It's the idea that real lab data is more meaningful than a logo you pay to put on your packaging. Certifications tell you a company passed an audit. Test results tell you what's in the bottle.
